J.M. Ramey is the Chief Legal Officer for REGAIN Investment Manager, LLC. He oversees all legal matters, including capital fundraising, leases, finance, and sales transactions for clients. He has in-depth experience in securities offerings; venture capital and “angel” financing; buy-sell agreements; and commercial real estate — leasing, acquisitions, and financing.  J.M. graduated from the University of Virginia and then continued to get his law degree at Richmond University. He has held leadership positions at the Virginia and American Bar Associations. Ramey has assisted other companies in raising more the 1 billion in equity through private placement securities and was a founder of Ramey Micheal Business Law Group. J.M. was featured in the Virginia Super Lawyers Magizine in 2013 where he worked as a principal for Goodman Allen & Filetti. He holds a bachelor’s from the University of Virginia and then continued to get his law degree at Richmond University. J.M. Ramey has an innovative approach to business and an entrepreneurial spirit which attributes to his success.
